This Privacy Policy describes how Play & Party Finder handles information when you browse family attractions, search for birthday venues, use party planning tools, or contact us. The website is intended for parents, caregivers, and other adults.
Information you provide
You may enter a ZIP code, activity preferences, and party planning information such as guest names, RSVPs, shopping items, budgets, and dates. The party planning and saved-item tools currently store information in your own browser using local storage, rather than a user account. Anyone with access to that browser profile may be able to view this information. Clearing browser data may erase it. Avoid entering sensitive information about children.
If you submit a Contact or Advertising inquiry, the form may collect your name, email, business details, and message so we can respond. The forms use Netlify Forms and require form processing to be enabled in our hosting account. We do not offer public user accounts or accept payments on this website at this time.
Searches and third-party services
When you search by ZIP code, your search details may be sent to our hosting service and to Google Places services to return relevant attractions and venues. Business information, images, ratings, maps, and official website links may be supplied by Google. Clicking a business, Google Maps, Eventbrite, or other external link takes you to a third-party website governed by its own privacy practices.
Browser storage and analytics
Our saved places and party planning tools use browser local storage to retain your choices on your device. Hosting providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, device details, requests, and logs to operate and secure the service. We use Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) only if you choose “Accept analytics” in our consent notice. Google Analytics may collect page visits, approximate location, device and browser information, engagement and outbound link clicks, and may use cookies or similar technologies to recognize visits. Google processes this information under its own privacy terms. We do not intentionally send guest names, RSVP information, budgets, form messages, or other personally identifiable information to Google Analytics. You may decline analytics or change your choice using the button below. Declining does not prevent you from using the website.
Children's privacy
Play & Party Finder is designed for adults planning family activities, not for children to create accounts or submit personal information. Please do not send children's personal information through our contact forms. If you believe information about a child was submitted, contact us through the Contact page.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers needed to host the site, handle form submissions, and power searches. We retain submitted inquiries only as long as reasonably needed for correspondence and legitimate business records. Browser-saved information stays on your device until you remove it or clear browser data.
Your choices
You can clear locally saved plans through available reset controls or by clearing this site's browser storage. You can request access to or deletion of information you submitted through the Contact page, subject to applicable requirements.
